Risk Management

The Board of CVC is responsible for ensuring appropriate systems are in place to manage and monitor operational risks and to communicate those risks. Additionally, the Board is responsible for ensuring that internal controls are appropriate for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations. CVC has in place an Audit Committee to assist the Board with its responsibilities relating to financial reporting and risk management.

The external auditor of CVC is HLB Mann Judd (NSW Partnership). CVC’s policy is to appoint external auditors who clearly demonstrate competence and independence. The performance of the external auditor is reviewed annually and applications for tender of external audit services are requested as deemed appropriate, taking into consideration assessment and performance, existing value and cost.

It is HLB Mann Judd’s policy to rotate audit engagement partners on listed companies at least every five years.
