John Riedl, has the following professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from Sydney University.

He also:

• Is a Executive Director with Kingfoil Containers Pty Ltd and holds numerous other Non-Executive Director positions
  
• Is a former member of the National Infrastructure Services Committee (the telecommunications advisory Board for the Prime Minister)
• Is a former member of the NSW Science and Technology Council (advisory Board to the Premier of NSW)

Business Background
Commenced working with the Australian Government in 1967 in mathematical modelling and went on to become Manager of the Weapons Assessing Department of the Royal Australian Navy. In addition to his defence experience, over the past 25 years John has gained extensive commercial experience in roles ranging from General Manager to Chief Executive Officer and Director.

John has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, company disposals and money market/funds management experience. John has spent considerable time managing large projects and R&D teams including management of high technology companies in IT&T – both start up and established (from a staff of 1 to 1,200), a result of strong personal technical skills.

In addition to CVC, John is a Director of numerous private companies.
